As in any specialist field, talent and ambition are of course essential if you want to build a successful career in music.
Whatever your own personal definition of success this programme is about helping you to move closer towards your goal. Whether that goal is performing at an open mic night at your local pub or addressing thousands at the O2 many of the steps to success are very similar and boil down to you getting savvy with the business side of music.
Get Your Act Together is designed to give you the tools to take charge of your own career. You will learn how to do the basics yourself and if you get to the position of needing support from a manager or agent, you’ll have a clearer idea what you need from them. Building your own career takes planning, thought, application and dedication. Get Your Act Together will help you to create a career road map to follow and furnish you with some specific skills. The thought, application and dedication is of course down to you!

- career and business planning
- marketing and PR
- working with a manager or agent
- songwriting, publishing, sync rights
- promoting your own music – live and recorded
- becoming a confident performer and dealing with stage fright
- Healthier Performer Programme including Yoga Kinetics for Performance
